Church School Council

Church School Council consists of a representative from each year group. The children nominate themselves and are then elected by their peers, supporting an understanding of the key Bristish Value of democracy.  With the support of Mrs Chivers, the Church School Council aspires to demonstrate key Christian values within school and the wider, local community.

Using teamwork we develop a caring and compassionate attitude which enables us to extend friendship and kindness to a wider society. Church School Council perseveres to make an awareness and an understanding of realistic, pragmatic approaches towards supporting others with an aim of showing how each individual can make a positive impact and  difference in our modern world.

Church School Council takes the lead with the charitable work of the school, which so far this year has included the MacMillan Coffee Morning to raise money for this cancer support charity, non-uniform days to raise money for Children in Need  and the local Air Ambulance as well as donating the proceeds of our Harvest Festival auction to Harbour Place, a local charity for the homeless.
